Dr. Dani Tart is a General Dentist at Midlothian Dental Center at Bon Air, specializing in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, extractions, and prosthodontics.

Dr. Tart became a dentist because of her love for science and working with her hands. As a young woman, she looked up to her dentist and was encouraged to pursue her interest in dentistry. Since then, she never looked back. Dr. Tart loves getting to know each of her patients, and her hope for each one is that they are involved and informed when it comes to their oral healthcare. For her, an informed and empowered patient is the ultimate goal.

Dr. Tart attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and relocated to Richmond where she enjoys trying new local restaurants with her husband Bobby and her German Shepherd, Quinn. Dr. Tart is now accepting patients at Midlothian Dental Center at Bon Air.

“I love what I do because it gives me a chance to help people not only look, but feel their best, by improving their oral health. I now live in the same neighborhood where I work and that’s given me a chance to learn about my own neighborhood from my patients, some of whom have lived in the area their entire lives. Bon Air is a very tight knit community and it’s certainly fun to see my patients out and about outside of the dental office!”

Dr Tart is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! Her entire office staff is knowledgeable, kind, and truly interested in making you feel like their most important patient on every visit! I followed my hygienist Cheryl to this office when my previous dentist retired, as that’s how good she is! Every cleaning we catch up on our families, and she teaches me something new about taking care of my teeth and gums. I recently had some long overdue cosmetic procedures done on my front teeth, and now I SMILE all the time again! Every step of the process was explained clearly. I highly recommend Dr. Tart and Midlothian Dental at Bon Air!

I am impressed by not only Dr. Tart's expert knowledge of dentistry, but by her unbelievable bedside manner. No matter the procedure, Dr. Tart has an incredible way of making the most difficult procedure (in my mind) an absolute breeze. She has a gentle touch and puts you at ease instantly. The dentist’s TEAM did a fantastic job prepping me, explaining all the steps, possible alternatives, and probable outcomes with my multiple tooth procedure. Dr Tart and her assistant took great care of me during the appointment. They kept things positive, relaxed, and steady with rest stops along the way. Even the music was ‘catered’ to my needs.
