Dr. Dani Tart is a General Dentist at Midlothian Dental Center at Bon Air, specializing in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, extractions, and prosthodontics.
Dr. Tart became a dentist because of her love for science and working with her hands. As a young woman, she looked up to her dentist and was encouraged to pursue her interest in dentistry. Since then, she never looked back. Dr. Tart loves getting to know each of her patients, and her hope for each one is that they are involved and informed when it comes to their oral healthcare. For her, an informed and empowered patient is the ultimate goal.
Dr. Tart attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and relocated to Richmond where she enjoys trying new local restaurants with her husband Bobby and her German Shepherd, Quinn. Dr. Tart is now accepting patients at Midlothian Dental Center at Bon Air.
“I love what I do because it gives me a chance to help people not only look, but feel their best, by improving their oral health. I now live in the same neighborhood where I work and that’s given me a chance to learn about my own neighborhood from my patients, some of whom have lived in the area their entire lives. Bon Air is a very tight knit community and it’s certainly fun to see my patients out and about outside of the dental office!”

Dr. Jessica McBride, General Dentist at Midlothian Dental Center, specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry, management of periodontal conditions, placement and restoration of dental implants, grafting, and pre-prosthetic surgery, as well as IV and oral sedation.
Dr. McBride is a Virginia native, born in Henrico and raised in Chesterfield County. She began her journey in the dental field in 2006 as a dental assistant, and her love for dentistry quickly blossomed. During her pre-dental journey she worked in various settings, from general dentistry to pediatrics and even public health. After completing a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, she worked in private practice while teaching part-time as a clinical instructor at VCU, and even temped at MDC for a short time prior to entering dental school!
A self-proclaimed dental nerd, Dr. McBride prides herself on her chairside mannerisms and ability to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Her philosophy of practice is to lead with transparency, treat the whole person (not just the teeth!), and encourage patients to be an active participant in their care.
When she is not practicing dentistry, you can probably find Dr. McBride singing, dancing, or baking (or usually a combination of all three!), and spending time with her husband Ryan, their three children, extended family, and close friends whenever she can.
